Our day in Polynesia

Our days in French Polynesia are pretty much like our days anywhere else. So, what are those differences that remind us that we are not in Europe?

1. On the way to buy bread we have to avoid sharks

2. Our friends look slightly different

Teiki doesn’t believe in firearms, he hunts wild pigs with a knife!

3. The potatoes are purple.

4. The suckling pigs are flat.

5. The chickens play football.

Or could that be the England Football Team?

Hello it is Charlotte! The video with the sharks is amazing, I wouldn’t have been able to stay there that long to film it! I hope you are having a lovely time and I hope to see you soon! Lots of love, Charlotte xxxx

Hi Charlotte! I didn`t know you were so afraid of sharks. To put your mind at rest, more people are killed each year by falling coconuts than by sharks (really! this is absolutely true). Although they are pretty unpredictable when they are feeding, they will normally pass right by when you are snorkelling or swimming I look forward to seeing you too if I am not splatted by a falling coconut. Thank you for that, my mind is at rest! I am glad there are no coconuts in England! Random fact, you are more likely to be killed by a donkey, than die in a plane crash! See you soon, Captain Fishy!

Love the people pics. Why is the mans horse having a lie down on the beach? His bod looks amazing…traditional tattooing methods I should think.
Are you coming to NZ or will you stay in paradise forever?
