Dear friends
Today is the day we worked so hard for. We are finally setting sail for the South Pacific. Rick managed to fix our pactor modem which means that we will be able to get some emails while at sea. If you want to write to us, please, send an email to sailingcalypso@gmail.com but remember not to add any attachment otherwise it will not find the way to us. We will be super happy to get any news from our sailing and non-sailing friends but will not be able to respond until we reach internet again. We will try to update our blog a few times (check the Slovenian page for any new posts).
You can also follow our track via these two links:

Our callsign is KD0RSM (kilo delta zero romeo sierra mike)
Vse to sporočanje (tako maili kot pozicija na zemljevidu) poteka preko Be aware that all this communication travels via the SSB radio which is not very reliable, so don’t panic if you don’t hear anything from us for some time. Our estimated time of arrival is Rick’s birthday (if we get decent winds) or mine (if the doldrums will hold us there forever). So by mid-may we expect to be in Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas (French Polinesia).
The tanks are full, the laundry is done, the bilge is loaded with tecate and totopos and Calypso has never be more ready.
Hasta luego, Mexico, we will really miss you!!!

Hi Joke!! Sorry to have left Mexico! If you told me, I would have waited for you! Oh well, we are now here in French Polynesia and it is also nice here too! It would be lovely to see you anywhere. We will probably leave here in a couple of weeks and go to the Tuamotus and then probably Tahiti, but who knows? If you say you are coming, then I will have some more concrete plans for you.
Massive kisses from me xxxxx
Rick (your truly wwoof host!)
